Atlanta security officer opens fire after becoming pinned between cars

The Atlanta police say that they were called out to the Radius Cheshire Bridge apartments on Cheshire Bridge Road after shots were fired.
A security officer patrolling the complex said that they were was forced to open fire after he was pinned between two cars
The security officer at this gated northeast Atlanta apartment complex said that he was investigating a suspicious vehicle when he was pinned between two cars as he tried to question the driver of the suspicious vehicle and that’s when he fired several shots.
When he approached the car, its driver reportedly backed up, hit a dumpster and then rammed into the security officer according to police.
Atlanta police and an ambulance responded to the scene.
Police are still investigating and have not released any details on the incident but said that the security guard was taken to a hospital for some injuries.
