Bakersfield security officer stabbed
Bakersfield, Calif. January 4 2023 The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the community’s help in identifying a suspect accused of stabbing a security guard at a bar Christmas Eve.
Bakersfield police said the incident happened on Christmas Eve, at around 9:17 p.m., at the Sports and Spirits Bar, located at 6633 Ming Avenue.
Police said the suspect was being escorted out of the business by security after refusing to show his ID when he took out a knife and stabbed a security guard.
The security guard suffered a non-life-threatening injury.
The suspect drove off in a white sedan, according to police.
The suspect is described as Black man, in his 20’s, about 5’7” and 130 pounds.

He was last seen wearing a multicam Eagles #20 jersey, with a white long sleeve underneath, white pants, and a green Eagles Knit Cap.
