Bank Security Officer, 5 Other Security Officer Shot During Numerous Incidents

Six security officers, including one who engaged a bank robber, have been shot during the last forty-eight hours.
The shooting occurred at a bank in the Chicago’s Loop during a robbery when the security officer approached the person he fired at the security officer and the security officer returned fire. That suspect is at large.
An Orange County security officer was also shot while checking on a person reportedly breaking into vehicles. The suspect is at large and the security officer has been hospitalized.
Two other security officers have been shot in Houston during a music concert that also left two others shot.
According to Houston police, around 3 a.m. on Saturday, a gunfight broke out in the 4900 block of Fuqua Street near Tumbling R Ranch The Fairground where at least four people were shot outside a venue people can rent out for events.
HPD Lieutenant Willkens says a security officer working at the venue and two suspects got into an altercation in the parking lot outside. The altercation escalated, and a shooting broke out. Reports say both suspects may have had rifles, but officials know one of them did.
Two other security guards came over when the shooting occurred and police say a large gunfight broke out, with the suspects shooting at least two of the security officers. Their conditions are not known.
A second shooting also injured a security officer.
An Oklahoma security officer has also been shot at a fast food restaurant where a confrontation occurred and a man disarmed the security officer and shot him.
