Beaverton security officer rescues injured, young barn owl
BEAVERTON, Ore. July 28 2018 – A security officer with First Response rescued an injured, young barn owl early Friday morning.
According to the Beaverton police department, the officer found the owl in the First Response parking lot.
The owl either has a broken wing or is too young to fly.
The security officer tried wildlife resources, but didn’t have any luck. So, he contacted the Beaverton Police Department.
Police say the owl hung out at First Response until the Audubon Society opened at 9 a.m.
