Boston police release photos of man accused of sucker-punching Fenway Park security officer

The Boston Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying a man who is accused of assaulting a Fenway Park security officer after a Boston Red Sox home game.
Police said the assault and battery happened shortly after 5:45 p.m. on May 29 in the area of 49 Lansdowne St., which is near the Lansdowne Street parking garage and the Bleacher Bar.
On May 29, the Red Sox hosted the Baltimore Orioles at Fenway Park. The first pitch was at 1:36 p.m. and the game ended at 5:03 p.m.
According to police, the Fenway security officer was reportedly sucker-punched in the head during an unprovoked attack. The security officer was transported to an area hospital to receive treatment. Police did not state the severity of his condition.
Boston police said the suspect has a stocky build with short, dark hair. In photos shared by police, he was wearing a navy blue Red Sox shirt — identified by police as a No. 11 Rafael Devers shirt — with light-colored shorts and white sneakers.
