Bouncer shot outside Beaumont club
Beaumont TX January 7 2020 A bouncer at a local Beaumont club was shot early Wednesday morning in the venue’s parking lot.
Beaumont police spokeswoman Haley Morrow said it was a “typical disturbance” between the bouncer and a patron just before 3 a.m. that escalated in the parking lot of E&L Lounge, 3150 Concord Road, ultimately leading to the shooting.
The bouncer was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, she said.
No arrests have been made.
The club was the site of a fatal shooting last spring when a 43-year-old Beaumont man was fatally shot nearby.
