Brinks armored truck crashes in California
Truckee, California March 27 2020– Minor injuries were reported in a multi-vehicle collision involving an armored truck in Truckee on Thursday morning, March 26.
According to a report by the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at about 9:09 a.m. on Interstate 80 Freeway near Hirschdale Road.
An armored Brinks truck is reported to have crashed into a guardrail for unknown reasons. A short time later, a gray Jeep Cherokee crashed into the disabled truck. A Toyota Rav4 was also involved in the collision.
Paramedics arrived at the scene and attended to the victims who had suffered minor injuries in the accident.
No additional information was provided.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
