Brockville hospital security officer assaulted

City police were at Brockville General Hospital on Friday morning and were dealing with another matter when the accused allegedly struck a security officer and then fled on foot.
She struck a police cruiser with her skateboard as she ran, according to a news release issued on Tuesday.
An officer pursued her on foot and the accused allegedly went to strike him with her skateboard as he approached.
The officer deployed his OC spray and made the arrest at about 8:20, police said.
The accused was held in custody for a bail hearing.
