Burlington NC security officer shot
Burlington NC Oct 23 2017 A security guard was injured and police are looking for a suspect in a shooting early Sunday in Burlington.
Police responded at 1:50 a.m. to Club Royal, 2389 Corporation Pkwy., and determined that an altercation inside had led to a shot being fired in the parking lot that hit the front door of King Kong UDK.
The security guard at King Kong UDK was treated for non-life-threatening injuries. No one else was injured.
Police are looking for Emmanuel Slade, 25, who is charged with assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury, possession of a firearm by a felon, discharging a firearm into an occupied dwelling, and discharging a firearm in the city limits.
