Car crashes into Fashion Mall injuring security officer during theft attempt
INDIANAPOLIS IN March 27 2018Â — A security guard at the Fashion Mall at Keystone was injured early Monday morning after burglary suspects crashed a vehicle crashed through the doors to a department store.
A Nissan vehicle had crashed into the front doors around 3 a.m.
The mall security guard told police he heard a crash, then saw about six men running out of the building.
The security guard said he was knocked down by the men, hurting his arm.
It is unknown how much was stolen by the men, but an IMPD incident report says a detective received a list of stolen property.
The mall will open at noon Monday, instead of the usual 10 a.m.
