Car slams into Tacoma Subway restaurant, injures security guard
TACOMA, Wash. November 22 2019– Tacoma police are investigating a hit-and-run crash after a car slammed into a Subway restaurant Wednesday night that injured a security officer.
The crash happened at about 8 p.m. on 72nd Street.
Tacoma police spokeswoman Loretta Cool said a security guard had minor injured but doesn’t know if the guard was hit by the car or from debris.
The security guard was taken to Tacoma General Hospital to be treated.
Police are still searching for the driver.
When KIRO 7 arrived at the scene, it appeared the windows were boarded up.
