Casino security and Tuolumne Sheriff’s deputies work together to nab car thieves
Jamestown, CA April 24 2018 The Tuolumne Sheriff’s Department said that ”The use of technology and assistance from a local casino security team, helped nab a car thief.
On Friday afternoon, we received a call from the Tracy Police Department in regards to a stolen 2018 Dodge Challenger Hellcat a spokesperson said.
The car had an electronic tracking device which showed it to be parked at the Chicken Ranch Casino parking lot in Jamestown.
Our Dispatchers contacted security at the casino who confirmed the car was still in their parking lot. Responding Deputies coordinated with the security team to track down the two occupants of the stolen car who had arrived together earlier in the day.
50-year-old Cary Toves of Ceres was arrested for possession of the stolen car and 37-year-old Genevieve Arretche of Ceres was arrested for possession of methamphetamine and drug use paraphernalia.
