Police responded to a call of a theft at 10:44 p.m. and met security officers at 1777 NW 44th St.. Chinook Winds Casino security reported an attempted theft of a purse and they had detained a suspect.

The female suspect. Julie Mende, born 4/13/80, cited and released for Theft II and has been trespassed from the casino.
