Centralia police charge man who assaulted security officer

Police said that they responded to assist a security officer during a disturbance.
At 3:08 p.m. on Thursday, police met with a security officer who said that he had been assaulted by a man during a confrontation.
Police arrested Richard A. Nielson Jr. 41, of Tumwater in the 3500 block of Steelhammer Drive and booked him into the Lewis County Jail on suspicion of assaulting the security guard.
