Cherokee Co. Sheriff’s Corporal dies from COVID complications

Cherokee County Sheriff Jeff Shaver and deputies asked for prayers following the death of Corporal Keith Morgan.
The Cherokee County Alabama Sheriff’s Office posted on Facebook Morgan died Wednesday morning from complications with COVID.
The post asked for people to “Please remember Keith’s family in prayer.”
Corporal Morgan had been with the sheriff’s office since 2009 and was also a firefighter with the Sand Rock Fire Department. He was 49 years old.
