Chicago man in critical condition after being shot by security officer
CHICAGO IL Nov 24 2017 Chicago police are conducting an investigation after a security officer shot a person.
Police were called out to the Bronzeville neighborhood on the South Side and found a 22 year old man shot at least one time.
Police say that the man was shot in his chest by the security guard at 3:42 p.m. in the 300 block of East 47th Street, according to preliminary information from Chicago Police.
He was taken to Stroger Hospital in critical condition, police said.
The circumstances of the shooting and the age of the person shot were not immediately known.
