Convicted felon threatens to shoot bouncer over empty beer bottle
ABILENE, Texas December 11 2018
Abilene police say a convicted felon threatened to shoot a bouncer at a night club.
According to the arrest report, Deshownus Artwon Burt, 39, followed a bouncer at La Nueva Luna out of the club Saturday night to confront him about “throwing away his empty beer bottle.”
When Burt was asked to leave, police say he went around front and yelled “B**ch I got a bullet for you!”
The bouncer saw a gun sticking out of Burt’s front right pocket. So they tackled Burt and took his gun.
Burt told police he carries the gun for protection.
But he was convicted of a felony in 2013 which means he is not allowed to carry one.
Burt was released on a $10,000 bond.
