Detroit security officer critically wounded in stabbing attack

A security officer is in critical condition after being stabbed multiple times over the weekend.
Officers said that they are still investigating the events of that stabbing that happened in downtown Detroit.
The 31-year-old security guard was escorting people out of a business location on Lafayette when a physical altercation happened between him and the suspects.
Several suspects repeatedly stabbed the security officer.
An officer outside the location immediately took the victim to a nearby hospital where he was listed in critical condition, police say.
According to police, a knife was recovered at the scene, and three people have been arrested.
