Dothan Alabama security guard sets fire to RV business
Dothan AL Sept 25 2017 A Dothan security guard was arrested for setting fire at the place he was supposed to be protecting and doing the same at an adjacent business.
Dothan Police Investigator Anthony McClendon said 24-year old Rockregal Kamal Johnson was charged Wednesday after he posted a suicide hoax on social media.
Johnson is accused of setting fire to a mobile home used for storage at U.S. Mobile Homes on August 28 and burning a camper September 2 at Bama RV, per court records. The businesses are next to each other on Montgomery Highway.
“He was a security guard working for a private company at Bama RV. We believed initially he may have been involved because of the way suspicious he acted (during the investigation). When he made the social media post Wednesday another investigator questioned Johnson and remembered he was a suspect in the arsons so we brought him in for further interrogation,” McClendon said.
Johnson was booked into the Houston County Jail under $60,000 bond.
