Dressed as security guard, man robs Texas bank
TOMBALL, TX October 5 2018— The FBI and local law enforcement officials are looking for two men who robbed the Capital One Bank branch in Tomball on Tuesday. Crime Stoppers of Houston is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to the identification and arrest of the two robbers.
Police said the robbery happened at about 3:50 p.m. at the Capital One Bank located at 19619 Tomball Parkway. Witnesses told investigators that one of the men came into the bank dressed as a security guard.
The man who was dressed as a security guard, began talking with one of the tellers just as the second suspect came into the bank. The second man, who was wearing a long black wig and a green jacket, went to a different teller, climbed over the teller counter, and demanded the teller give him money.
During the robbery, both robbers violently shoved bank employees and customers to the ground. No one was physically hurt during the robbery. Investigators believe the suspects fled in an unidentified vehicle.
Both me were in the 20s. One of the men wore a fake security uniform shirt, dark pants, and a light blue hat. The second suspect wore a green jacket, dark pants, a white hat, and a long-hair wig.
