Drunk woman arrested after ‘charging’ store security with wheelchair
OKLAHOMA CITY OK Sept 28 2017— A woman was arrested after police say she attempted to run over a metro store security guard while in her wheelchair.
Patricia Deere, 54, was arrested Sept. 25 on a complaint of public drunk, Oklahoma City police reports show.
At approximately 5 p.m. police were called to 7-Eleven, 1101 NW 10 Street, following a disturbance.
Witnesses told police Deere, who was in a wheelchair, attempted to charge a security guard in the store.
Officers on scene noted that Deere had a strong odor of alcohol and slurred speech.
She was then placed under arrest for public drunk and two city warrants.
