Durham security guard drives shooting victim to hospital
DURHAM, N.C. January 9 2019
When a 15-year-old was shot in her side around 3 p.m. Monday at the Magnolia Point apartments, a security guard at the complex decided not to call an ambulance and instead drove her to the hospital.
Police did eventually respond to the apartments off Danube Lane,. after the shooting had occurred.
Police said the victim was shot inside a vehicle.
Police said the victim is in serious condition.
What the security guard did is not normal police said.
