Elderly woman bit security guard at Tacos Kissi, hit him with a cane

An elderly woman landed behind bars for biting a security guard at Tacos Kissi and hitting him with a walking cane, according to Laredo police.
Dora San Juana Serna, 72, was arrested on the charge of assault on a security guard.
The case unfolded at approximately 1:38 p.m. May 5 at Tacos Kissi on 4318 San Bernardo Ave. Officers met with a security guard who stated that Serna had bit him in the arm and hit him with a cane.
He stated he was going about his security duties right by the restaurant’s front door. The security guard told Serna she was not allowed into the place of business, the arrest affidavit states.
“Ms. Serna is a local vagrant who had caused previous disturbance in the area as well as the place of business Tacos Kissi,” states the affidavit.
Serna, however, disregarded the guard’s commands and ran toward the door. At the same time, the guard grabbed the handle of the door preventing Serna from going inside, authorities said.
Serna then bit him on his left forearm and hit him with a walking cane. Serna then caused a disturbance at the restaurant before taking off, according to court documents.
When officers located her, she refused to cooperate with the investigation, the affidavit states.
