Ex security guard sentenced to 11 years for child sex assault
Dayton OH March 25 2020 A Dayton woman was sentenced to more than a decade in prison in connection to inappropriate sex acts she performed with minors last year.
LaQuita Ross, 42, was indicted on two counts of rape and four counts of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor in April of last year.
She was sentenced to 11 years in prison Monday after being found guilty on March 6, according to a prosecutor’s press release.
She will also have to register as a Tier III sex offender for life.
“On Tuesday, March 19, 2019, the Dayton Police Department received information from Crimestoppers that a security guard working at the Northeast Recreation Center on Princeton Park Drive had sexually assaulted children inside her van,” a prosecutor’s press release says. “Further investigation determined that the defendant, employed by Moonlight Security, had sexually assaulted a number of young boys.”
