Falmouth police arrest three armed men who assaulted, threatened security officers
Falmouth MA Sept 1 2021 Three men were arrested in Falmouth late Saturday night, August 28, on firearms and threat charges.
According to a press release from Falmouth Police Department, the Barnstable County Communications Center received an abandoned 911 call around 11:07 PM.
The call appeared to be coming from the Pier 37 Boathouse restaurant on Scranton Avenue. Officer David Massi was the first to arrive on what was described as a “chaotic scene” and learned that the security staff of the restaurant was assaulted, and threats of a firearm were made by a group of men that were now in a vehicle in the parking lot.
The press release said that when Officer Massi approached the vehicle, he noticed a male on the rear passenger side attempting to conceal an item and removed him from the vehicle.
Officer Massi saw what appeared to be a firearm in the vehicle and removed all passengers. During a search of the vehicle, officers located two loaded semi-automatic handguns: a .45 caliber Taurus pistol and a .380 caliber Taurus pistol.
Officers from Falmouth, Mashpee and Massachusetts State Police Departments assisted with the scene.
Marckell Gordon, 20, of Lynn, 23-year-old Terron Jackson Jr. of Harwich, and 22-year-old Jamual Sims of Wareham were arrested and charged with multiple offenses, including carrying a loaded firearm without a license, possession of a firearm with a defaced serial number and threat of armed assault to murder.
