Falmouth Public General Hospital security guard pepper sprayed by cop
Falmouth Jamaica June 22 2018
The Independent Commission of Inquiry (INDECOM) has commenced an investigation into Tuesday night’s alleged pepper spraying of a security guard by a member of the Jamaica Constabulary Force at the Falmouth Public General Hospital.
The policeman was one of four who went to visit their colleague after visiting hours at the hospital.
Reports are that sometime after 9:00pm, four policemen stationed in St James went to the hospital to visit one of their colleagues who was a patient.
The group of law enforcers were, however, informed by the security guard that it was not visiting time.
It is alleged that the security guard was pepper sprayed after he tried to bar the cop who insisted to enter.
The Falmouth police are also investigating.
