TACOMA, Wash Aug 2 2020 – Puyallup Tribal Police responded to a report of a shooting at the south parking garage of the Emerald Queen Casino in Tacoma just before midnight Friday night.

Tribal officers and Emerald Queen security performed CPR on the male victim.

The victim was pronounced deceased early Saturday morning.

Tribal police say a male suspect fled the scene on foot. Police believe the shooting did not appear to be a robbery.

Following standard procedure for major crimes on the Puyallup reservation, the FBI is now investigating the shooting.
