Felony Arrest Made At Harrah’s Casino
JOLIET, IL May 23 2023 A 36-year-old man from St. Cloud, Minnesota was taken away in handcuffs by Joliet police officers following an incident at the downtown Harrah’s Casino over the weekend.
According to Joliet police Hassan Nur was booked into the Will County Jail on charges of criminal trespass to property, obstructing a peace officer and obstructing justice.
Joliet police spokesman Dwayne English said Nur’s arrest happened around 4:20 a.m. on Sunday.
According to the arrest report:
Officers responded to Harrah’s Casino for an intoxicated person refusing to leave.
Nur repeatedly refused Harrah’s security requests for him to leave the premises. Nur was placed into custody after refusing to cooperate with officers, as well.
At the Joliet Police Department, the Minnesota man refused to cooperate with booking procedures. Nur was then taken to the Will County Adult Detention Facility.
He was released around 5:20 p.m. after posting 10 percent of his $3,000 bail.
Hassan Nur was freed from the Will County Jail on Sunday after posting 10 percent of his $3,000 bail.
