Female security guard shot during fight at Richland nightclub
RICHLAND COUNTY, SC July 25 2017
A female security guard was shot after a fight broke out at a Broad River Road nightclub early Monday.
The shooting happened at Club Vault on the 3100 block of Broad River Road, according to Sgt. Brittany Jackamonis with the Richland County Sheriff’s Department. Deputies learned that gunshots were fired after a fight outside the club.
A female security guard was hit in the lower body, Jackamonis said. The security guard returned fire, shooting at four men who fled in a red or burgundy “box-style” Chevrolet sedan.
It was unclear if any of the suspects were hit by gunfire, Jackamonis said. The security guard was taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
