Four Security Officer Deaths Last Week

Four security officer deaths were reported during the week of June 9-15 2019.
An unidentified security officer was found unresponsive and died in New York on June 10th. He was in uniform and on duty. The cause of death has not been determined at this time.
In Tulsa Oklahoma, a security officer was shot to death during a confrontation while working at a Hookah Lounge.
Mohamad Elkour died Saturday at a hospital. No arrests have been made.
A Dallas Independent School District security officer was killed in a traffic collision.
Michael Moore, lost control of his truck flipping seven to eight times and was ejected from the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
Also in Texas, the Beaumont Independent School District, is mourning the loss of a beloved security officer after she died of natural causes earlier this week.
Paulette James has been a security guard for Beaumont ISD since 2012.
Sharonda Mayfield is a longtime friend and co-worker of James. The two worked together at Charlton-Pollard Elementary and said this loss hits close to home for her.
She cared about the kids,” Mayfield said. “I don’t know how to explain it, she’s just go be truly missed.”
Six security officers were shot and two others stabbed during the week as well.
