Ginna Nuclear Power Plant security stops delivery man with handgun
Ontario, N.Y. July 19 2019 Ginna Nuclear Power Plant security officers notified the sheriffs department that a delivery man was armed with a handgun.
After deputies arrived and assisted security with an investigation, an Ohio man was arrested Monday afternoon.
Wayne County Sheriff’s deputies said Shaun Miller, 48, was trying to make a delivery at the nuclear power plant on Lake Road in Ontario around 12:45 p.m.
It was determined that Miller did not have a valid carry permit and took him into custody.
Miller was arrested and charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon. He was released with an appearance ticket for Ontario Town Court.
It is not known if Miller intended to do any harm on the property.
