Gulfport security officer finds deceased persons at hotel
Gulfport MS March 9 2021
A security officer doing a welfare check at a local hotel found two people deceased inside
a local hotel room.
The security officer, at the direction of hotel management went to the room after family
members became concerned after not hearing from the hotel guest.
Police and EMS responded to the hotel located on US 49 and found a female and a male deceased
inside the room.
Authorities say it may have been a drug overdose.
They are continuing their investigation.
