Halton armed security officer stops jewelry store robbery
Halton Canada Jan 22 2023 Halton police are looking for three men following an alleged attempt to rob an Oakville jewelry store on Wednesday, Jan. 18.
According to police, at 5:10 p.m., three suspects, at least one of whom had a gun, entered Knar Jewelry in the Olde Oakville Marketplace plaza at 321 Cornwall Rd.
The men were reportedly unable to get through an internal set of security doors and then fled the scene after a security guard on the property drew his firearm.
No one was injured during this incident, and nothing was stolen.
The suspects were seen leaving the area in a grey sedan.
No detailed suspect descriptions are available, however, all were described as wearing black.
