Holly Springs Georgia Police Officer Murdered
Holly Springs Ga. June 17 2021 — The Georgia Bureau of Investigation said a Holly Springs police officer and suspect have been killed during a traffic stop.
The GBI tweeted Thursday morning that their agents have been called out to investigate.
Cherokee County Sheriff’s office said a stretch of road is closed due to the investigation.
The area is on Hickory Road, from New Light Road to Little Road.
Authorities said the area will likely be closed throughout the morning. They are asking people to avoid the area if possible.
