Houston security officer finds body of stabbing victim

While flood waters in some parts of Harris County and Houston have receded, police already are investigating a murder.
Police say that they were notified by a private security officer making patrols of a business in the 1100 block of Pierce that he found a murder victim.
The security officer found an unidentified man who had been brutally stabbed to death and found in a parking lot.
A security guard made the gruesome discovery around 8:45 p.m.
The victim – who was not immediately identified – had been stabbed multiple times, according to the Houston Police Department.
There are no known suspects at this time.
