Houston security officer responding to shots fired-finds man with gunshot
Houston TX Jan 1 2018 A security officer on patrol heard gunshots and responded to the area finding a man shot in the head.
Police say that the security officer found the man shot in the head Saturday morning inside a car in west Houston.
Police were called and found the man around 12:30 a.m. near Glenmont and Rampart.
According to Sgt. Mark Holbrook with HPD Homicide Division, the security officer did not locate anyone else in the area.
The shooting victim was taken to Ben Taub Hospital in critical condition. There was no information provided on suspects or a motive.
