Houston security officer shot in drive-by
Houston TX May 29 2018 A security guard was shot in the leg late Monday working in the in Gulfton area, Houston police reported.
Just before 10 p.m., a security officer working in the 5700 block of Glenmont was hit by gunfire believed to be from a passing vehicle.
It’s not clear whether the guard was targeted or hit at random, police said. Afterward, he was taken to the hospital.
No one was immediately taken into custody and police did not offer any description of the shooter or suspect vehicle.
