Jacksonville security officer shoots robbery suspect at internet cafe

An armed security officer on duty at an internet café shot and seriously wounded a man who attempted to rob the business.
Police say that shortly after midnight, the man entered the business and attacked the security officer, pepper spraying him and that’s when he was shot.
Officers said they got the call about the shooting at 12:08 a.m. and responded to the Cyber Spot, an internet cafe located at 7900 103rd St.
The suspect was transported to the hospital with serious injuries and had surgery.
Witnesses told police there was a second suspect involved. She is being questioned by police.
At this time, no other information was released.
