Kansas carnival workers charged with 2 murders that were initiation into the carnival mafia
WICHITA, Kan. December 8 2018
The Attorney General reports that three carnival workers have been charged with capital murder along with other, related charges after being linked to the deaths of a Wichita couple at the Barton County Fair.
52-year-old Kimberly Younger, 54-year-old Michael Fowler Jr., and 35-year-old Rusty Frasier were charged Thursday in connection with the deaths of Alfred “Sonny” Carpenter and Pauline Carpenter, both of Wichita, at the Barton County Fair in July.
Van Buren Arkansas police say Younger posed as a carnival mafia member named “Frank Zaitchik” and texted others to kill the Carpenters on the fairgrounds at Great Bend, where the couple were vendors.
Police say investigators were told that the killings were initiation into the carnival mafia.
