Kansas City security guards fatally shoot man outside bar
KANSAS CITY, Mo. —July 2 2018
Kansas City police are investigating a fatal shooting late Friday near 24th Street and Van Brunt Boulevard.
Security guards fatally shot a person Friday night during a disturbance outside a bar according to police.
The shooting was reported shortly before 11 p.m. involving numerous persons.
Police responding to the shooting learned that security guards had shot a person during a disturbance outside a nearby bar. A bar called The Yum Yum is at 5304 E. 24th St.
The person who was shot was taken to a hospital and was later declared dead.
The security guards were not injured according to police.
The investigation is on-going.
