Kenosha woman arrested for pulling out security guard’s hair, scratching her face
Kenosha WI November 15 2019 A 27-year-old Kenosha woman is alleged to have battered a security officer at Froedtert Kenosha Hospital, pulling out the guard’s hair, scratching her face and attempting to hit her with a blood pressure monitor before fleeing the hospital.
Latasha Carter — described in the criminal complaint as being 4 feet 9 inches tall and weighing 80 pounds — is alleged to have attacked the guard Friday while she was being treated in the hospital’s emergency room. She left when police were called.
She was charged Monday with battery to an emergency medical worker, battery to a police officer and resisting arrest.
According to the criminal complaint, she was taken into custody near the hospital. She allegedly slipped out of her handcuffs in the squad car and tried to light a cigarette. When an officer attempted to take away the cigarette and lighter, she allegedly kicked him in the chest.
Her bond was set at $250.
