Kohl’s shoplifter charged with theft and drug charges
EASTON MD Aug 5 2018 — A 21-year-old Easton male was arrested on July 19 and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, not marijuana, and theft less than $100 value.
These charges stemmed from an incident that occurred at the Kohl’s Department store on Marlboro Road in Easton.
According to the charging document, Tayvon Emory was observed and identified by surveillance video from within Kohl’s stealing merchandise.
After leaving the store, police located Emory and discovered he had two unrelated warrants for his arrest. Search of Emory’s person revealed suspected cocaine.
Emory was taken before a Talbot County Court Commissioner and was held on a $3,000 bond.
