Lake County Sheriff’s deputy found dead, Missoula authorities investigating
MISSOULA, Montana April 7 2020 — A Lake County Sheriff’s Deputy was found dead at home on Saturday.
The death of Ross Holcomb, 32, is being investigated by the Missoula County Sheriff and Coroner’s Office.
The Sheriff’s Office said in a Sunday morning press release that suicide is the suspected cause of death.
Holcomb had worked with the Sheriff’s Office since June 2017. He was a combat veteran of the United States Marine Corps.
