Laredo security officer assaulted at Mexican restaurant

Two people landed behind bars for allegedly assaulting a security officer at a local Tacos Kissi.
Alberto Garcia Jr., 22, was charged with assault on a security officer while Brenda Leticia Bautista, 42, was charged with aggravated assault against a security officer.
At about 1:35 a.m. Friday, police officers responded to the 4400 block of McPherson Road for an assault report. Bautista and Garcia stated that a security guard had assaulted them.
Surveillance footage from the business revealed that Bautista and Garcia had assaulted the security guard, according to police. The video allegedly shows the suspects hitting the security guard across the face several times. The victim also claimed that Bautista hit her in the head with a cell phone she was holding, authorities said
