Las Vegas security officer shot-multiple suspects at large

A shooting has left a security officer seriously injured and police searching for several people who were involved.
Multiple suspects were involved in the shooting in the Fremont East District.
Officers reported they were called to 508 Fremont Street, in front of the Evel Pie restaurant, at 3:20 a.m. with reports of shots fired.
Metro said a security officer who was on duty was shot after some sort of confrontation.
The security officer was transported to the hospital and detectives said he is expected to survive the shooting incident.
However, the suspects were not located in the area when Metro units arrived.
Authorities did not release any further immediate information from the scene.
