Lawsuits against and by security firms increase in 2018

Lawsuits against and by private security agencies so far in 2018 seems to show trouble areas that have steadily escalated over the past three years.
Lawsuits filed against private security agencies and businesses who employ internal security staff such as retail stores, schools, malls, colleges and large corporations has risen by thirteen percent so far this year and have been centered around the Excessive Use of Force, Wrongful Deaths, Personal Injuries, and Failure to Protect.
Complaints also include this year also included Breach of Contract, Non-Payment of Vendor Invoices and Employee Issues including wage disputes or non-payment, sexual harassment, on-duty injuries, discrimination, assault of employees by supervisors and contract disputes.
Security firms were also involved in more than a dozen Class Action lawsuits.
Lawsuits filed by private security agencies this year has risen by six percent and were mainly for Breach of Trust, Violations of Non-Disclosure and Non-Compete, Non-Payment of Invoices, Injuries Sustained By Employees, Defamation and other miscellaneous complaints.
