Lifetime Member of POI, retired Nashville police officer dies
NASHVILLE, Tenn. June 3, 2020
A longtime friend and Lifetime Member of Private Officer International passed away on Monday.
Buford Tune was a retired Metro Nashville Police Department officer, and owner of the Academy of Personal Protection and Security.
He was a strong supporter of training and of the second amendment.
During his career as a Nashville police officer, he worked in a number of metro units, and was involved in many areas of his community.
Buford died of an apparent heart attack Monday night.
Final arrangements have not yet been made.
