Lionel Richie’s son Miles gets warning from cops at Heathrow after attacking security guard and claiming he had a bomb

Lionel Richie’s son was issued a strict warning by the police after he told airport security that he had a bomb in his bag which he would detonate on a plane while at London Heathrow Airport’s Terminal Five on Saturday morning.
The 24-year-old, Miles ‘Milo’ Brockman Richie, who is also a model attacked a security guard during the incident. Scotland Yard officers revealed that a man had accepted a caution for communicating false information which caused a bomb hoax as well as battery.
However, at the time it was not confirmed that the man involved was Miles Richie. According to witnesses present, Milo was agitated after being denied onto a flight and claimed he would detonate a bomb if he was not allowed to board.
Miles then reportedly punched a security guard before the police detained him. As reported by TMZ, law enforcement sources shared that he has since been cautioned and released.
A caution is a formal warning which is handed to someone who admits they are guilty of a minor crime and goes on their criminal record. This is a way to help keep low-level crimes out of the court as a method to unclog the criminal justice system.
A police spokesman shared with Daily Mail, “On Saturday, 19 January, a 24-year-old man accepted a caution for communicating false information causing a bomb hoax and battery following an incident at Heathrow Terminal 5 earlier that morning.”
The Metropolitan police further added that the statement made was not a confirmation of the name of the person involved in the incident. Miles Richie is one of Lionel Richie’s two children and Lionel had him while he was married to dancer Diane Alexander. Lionel’s other child is 20-year-old Sofia Richie who also works as a model. Even though the family had everything they wanted and were famous, their mother would always make the children do their chores before they got an allowance.
However, when Miles was eight-years-old and Sofia was four, Lionel and Diane chose to split up. Miles had been in the UK for London Fashion Week Men’s which had taken place last week. Miles is presently signed to IMG Models and also made his own New York Fashion Week debut in the Philipp Plein show.
