MANISTEE MI  December 27 2018— The Little River Casino Resort has over 700 regular employees, making it the biggest employer in Manistee County.

With these many employees, it makes it hard to stand out as the “best” employee. At this years’ Starlight Ball (employee party), two employees were singled out for their outstanding service and contribution to the success of the resort.

The Superstar of the Year was Rebecca Buzz, a sous chef in the Food andBeverage Department.

Buzz joined the staff at the resort in June 2007.

The Employee of the Year was Edward C. Kirchinger, a Security Officer Level 2 in the Security Department. Kirchinger joined the casino in August 1999.

The resort management and staff congratulate Buzz and Kirchinger for their great work in making the casino resort a successful destination resort for western Michigan.
