Cause Automobile crash
Officer Chris Beaudion was killed in a single vehicle crash at the intersection of South 2nd Street and Winnsboro Road at approximately 3:00 am.
His patrol car left the roadway and struck a tree, causing him to suffer fatal injuries.
Officer Beaudion had served with the Monroe Police Department for five months. He is survived by his wife, two children, and parents.
